Register for Barcodes

Can you help me register for barcodes?

It is important for customers to know that SA Barcodes is a non-Gs1 affiliated barcode supplier and, therefore when purchasing from us, we do not register your codes onto the GS1 system. To minimize duplication of barcodes, we do not allow returns. Once a barcode is purchased by a customer, they are able to use it immediately in a wide-range of retailers and a certificate of registration is issued with your package.

It is important to note that some of the bigger retailers in South Africa such as Amazon or Pick ‘n Pay may require direct GS1 membership for you or your business, this is something we cannot offer. As such, please make sure beforehand that your barcodes will be accepted by your intended retailers. If our barcodes cannot be accepted, you will need to register for barcodes at GS1. This is the more expensive option as an annual renewal fee is required to be paid and forms will need to be filled out. With SA Barcodes, however, we offer a once-off price, efficient service with no forms!
